Sick Day

Poor James doesn't feel good today. He's got a nasty cold that's gone into his chest... You know he doesn't feel good when he falls asleep in the living room. Usually we have to battle to get him to nap. Poor fella :(

Day 16

We saw this pretty sunset tonight on the way to my Grandma's and I made DH pull over so I could take a picture :)

Reverse Lens

So I thought I'd have a crack at this fancy schmancy reverse lens technique, and while mine's not nearly as good as some of the others I've seen, I still kinda like them :) I definately have to get some macro filters now lol The flowers were a "just because" from my hubby, ain't he sweet?? :D

A South Beach Breakfast

Ok so I had it for snack and not for breakfast, and my son ate about 90% of it, but, that's the way it goes sometimes lol sorry about the grain, there's |thismuch| light in my kitchen and I didn't want to have to use my flash, sooooo up goes the ISO :S

My drippy sink...

My bathroom sink has a drip. Constantly it drips. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drives me nuts. I finally put a cup under it to catch the drip and we use that water to clean so as not to waste water. Hopefully DH will fix it tonight so I thought I'd capture the drip for posterity lol

Day.. something lol

This is the only decent one I got tonight. I was trying to get one of him with his daddy's cowboy hat, but alas, I had my ISO too low or my shutter speed too slow or something, because they're ALL blurry :S Oh well. Gives me something to try for tomorrow, right?

Creamsicle Goodness

So I gave in and put up the backdrop and lights tonight :D I didn't have any of the famous giant suckers, so I had to make do with a creamscle. James was thrilled lol



I know I need to work on the color, but dinner's ready, so it'll have to wait lol

Pretty Day

It was so lovely out today that we were able to go play in the backyard :D We had lots of fun, until I told him he had to go inside, then he wasn't too happy lol

We went to a friend's son's birthday party today, and I snapped this. I just thought it was too cute not to share (yes, mom said it was okay :P)

This doesn't fit in with the "style" I've kind of settled into, but I just wanted to share my sleepy boy coming home from his Grandma's house today :D

Day 5

We've been running around all day lol who knew it would be such a major undertaking to take one picture every day? lol Mike said I should probably stop taking so many pictures every day or I'm going to run out of things to photograph by the end of the month. He's probably right, but I try never to listen to him if I can help it ;)

Day 4 Take 2

Ok I got my camera fixed (one of the benefits of being married to a Wal-Mart manager haha) so this is what I came up with. I'm much happier with these than with the stupid doorknob one. I may redo the doorknob tomorrow, but for now I'm off to bed

The day from... well, not Heaven.

It's been a very very long day. And to top it off, I was taking picture for the challenge, and my camera went kapoot. So this is the only thing I got. I know it's crap, but I didn't have a chance to take anything better, so this is all I've got. Blah. Tomorrow has to be better :S

Day 3 - My Kitchen Sink

This challenge is turning out to be just that -- a challenge. My son is usually the focus of all my pictures, but he's teething right now, so I don't feel like torturing either of us with trying to take his picture. So I started taking pictures of anything and everything, but I couldn't get any that I really liked. When my hubby called me from work today, I was telling him all of the things that I was taking pictures of, and he laughingly said "wow, you've photographed everything but the kitchen sink!" So that got me thinking, why not the kitchen sink? So, this is the drain in my sink (it's an honor for you to see this because normally there are dishes blocking the veiw! Hahaha)

Day 2 - January 16, 2007

So I couldn't think of what to take a picture of. I didn't feel like setting up my lights or digging out my backdrop, so instead, I thought I'd treat you to my son's breakfast... Which I'm not allowed to eat since I'm on South Beach (but I ate some anyway! I'm so bad!) :D

A day late and a dollar short

Soooo I'm all behind in joining the 30 Day Challenge. Lucky for me, my camera is like a third arm; I've been known to forget my diaper bag but still have my camera slung over my shoulder.

So I'm off to try to scrounge up my USB cord, and I'll post some pictures from yesterday and today.
